Coronation Street Whodunnit – Who kills Liam Connor?
Coronation Street’s sexy star Rob James-Collier who plays Liam Connor has decided to quit the show. The former knicker factory boss will be killed off in a sensational story line later this year. The plot is likely to pull in the viewers, though not nearly as much as the who shot Phil Mitchell line in Eastenders, or the who pushed Claire Cunningham line from Hollyoaks, but will manage to instill an amount of intrigue.
Liam has been a familiar face on the street for the last 2 years. Having overheard a conversation about Underworld, he and his brother stumped up cash and bought out Adam Barlow. There was a bit of a struggle between him and Danny Baldwin, which is how Liam found himself on the street.
Liam is a smooth talker as well as a good looker, who didn’t take too long in finding himself the centre of a ladies interest. Unfortunately for him he was really never any good at picking the right girl. First up it was his partner’s ex-wife, then his attention turned to Joanne Jackson then onto Leanne Battersby. These two were short relationships, doomed from the start. He is now more than a little confused with where his heart lies. Is it with Maria, or for his sister-in-law Carla?
Liam has decided to quit Coronation Street for fear of being typecast as just another hunk, after he won the ‘Sexiest Male’ for the last two years at the British Soap Awards.
He is to be murdered in a brutal attack in the Autumn. But who is up to doing the evil deed?
Online bookmakers Paddy Power have made up their own minds and are offering bets on who the murderer will be.
In the top spot as prime suspect is Tony Gordon. We have already seen that he’ll do anything to get his way, and with Carla thrown into the mix, will that be enough of a motive to murder Liam? If you think that Tony Gordon will kill Liam Connor then you can get odds of 1/2 with Paddy Power.

Even though it seems the most obvious, right now I think it will be Tony Gordon. We’ve seen how he reacts to not getting what he wants and not winning. Imagine how he might react when he finds out he has also come second best in Carla’s heart and affections. I expect it to be not too kindly. This might be one he wants to finish off himself as opposed to hiring someone else, like he usually might.
I’m not ruling out Maria though.
Tony Gordon, he has already shown himself to be possessive about Carla. Tony is manipulating Kevin and Rosie. Rosie presumably still has the video on her phone of Carla and Liam kissing, and may use it in revenge.This would then be the incentive for Tony to go for Liam.

There has actually been a rumour going around that Peter Barlow (The Bigamist, Ken’s Son) Is coming back and tries to get in the sack with Maria and ends up killing Liam so who knows? I would like the odds for that.
I think that it will be carla or toni gordon because carla likes liam and now that he is with maria she nows that she cannot have him and tony just doesnt like any one and because rosie has a vidoe of carla and liam kissing tony might see this and go for liam

i think it will be janice battersby as she is a bit chubby and could do with the hard work of planning a murder? do you not think? if not her then it will be sean (the homosexual one)
as he obv would like to get in bed with liam but he knocks him back resulting in a vicious revenge attack by sean as he kills him with a ladle… and also jerry will get his deranged wife to sleep with sean because he gets paid for it.

I know that Toney planned to kill Laim. He planned it with his brother pat. toney told Maria that he had a falling with his brother so that he could have laim as his best man. so laim could go to the stag do that is when he he told laim to go across the road as he forgot the kit box so that is when he told pat on his mobole to run laim over after that happened he bent down and said you are dead .
