Big Brother 9: More betting opportunities released

Well as predicted bookies are starting to get behind Big Brother 9 by providing more opportunities for you to place a bet. This time we have Paddypower entering the fray with a number of betting markets for this years Big Brother. These specials are all generalised on gender of the housemates, as we do not yet know the individuals entering the Big Brother house.

Big Brother Bets

Lets take a look at each market in time order for the housemates entry to the house.

First up is What will Davina say 1st on the Launch show? There are a whole host of things Davina says during the shows, but which will she use first. Take a look at the list below, the best odds are listed too:

Next up we have the number of viewers (at the peak) for the launch show. You have bands to bet on from under 7 million to over 9 million. Check out the table below for the best odds:

Next up we have the gender of the first housemate, easy one this, well you’d think, male or female – but no Paddy Power have put down odds of 50/1 that the first entrant is an animal. There is also an opportunity to bet on the ethnicity of first housemate too.

Let’s take a look at some of the betting specials that are available for Big Brother. The table below lists all the Paddy Power special bets you can bet on:

Most likely scenario to happen in Paddy Powers mind is for there to be a foreign exchange programme between the UK house and one from another country. last time it happened it was with the Australian house. Odds on the foreign exchange programme stand at 3/1.

After last years SamAnda twins, Paddy Power have odds of 5/1 on there being another set amongst this years housemates. Whilst we’re on the subject of housemates there’s odds of 10/1 that we’ll Jade Goody added to the house at some stage. There’s also 8/1 that there’ll be a parrot in the house too.

As far as calamity odds, there’s 14/1 that there’ll be a fire in the house and 25/1 that there’ll be a bombscare and that all of the housemates will be evacuated. Always looking for publicity is ‘Fathers for Justice’, you can get odds of 20/1 that one of their protestors makes it onto the roof of the house.

Something which has yet to happen on Big Brother, but should have in most series is that an anger management class in run, if you think this is likely for this series, then you can get odds of 16/1 on this.
