Britains Got Talent: Who’s Through - Who’s Next?

For the results of Wednesday’s show and a look at Thursdays show visit Today’s Britains Got Talent page.

Well we’re into the semifinals stages of Britains Got Talent, and as these complete, we’ll get the final line up for the grand finale on Saturday night.

Whose in so far?

At the top of the pile is Andrew Johnston, a 13 year old classical singer, who blew the judges away with his tale of bullying and of course his singing of Pie Jesu. In the live semi final he sang Eric Clapton’s hit, Tears in Heaven in the same classical style, and was voted best by the audience. If you missed the audition, then you can catch it on You Tube, or here’s his winning performance from last night:

The other act which made it through to the final last night was the act saved by the judges. The choice was out of Flava and Cheeky Monkeys. As per usual Amanda and Piers each chose one to go through, which left Simon with the casting vote. He chose to send Cheeky Monkeys through.

Cheeky Monkeys is a dance act featuring two children, Charlie and Krista, both aged 8. In the auditions, which were again in Manchester they danced to Rock and Roll and despite Piers buzzing in, and Simon reckoning on them being better than the choreography they had been given, were sent through to the Semi Finals last night. Here is there performance from Britains Got Talent last night:

I think there performance wasn’t quite as good as their first one, but I guess the cuteness of the Cheeky Monkeys saaw them through.

Andrew Johnston and Cheeky Monkey joined Signature and Kate and Gin from Monday nights show. As far as odds go on the winner of Britains Got Talent, skybet have Andrew Johnston as favourite at 3/1, Signature 9/2 Kate and Gin 10/1 and Cheeky Monkeys are the outsiders at 28/1. This is all subject to change, as the next acts join them after tonights show. Please check the box above or go direct to skybet to get the latet odds.

The ‘Cheeky Monkeys’ were good but none the less ‘Flava’ definitely deserved the position with there awe inspiring raw talent.
