With continued uncertainty surrounding the identity of Paris Jackson’s biological father, Paddy Power have reported a significant gamble on Oliver! star Mark Lester which has seen his odds tumble from 12-1 into 6-4 second-favourite.

Lester, who claimed yesterday that Michael Jackson asked him if he would donate sperm during the time the singer was married to Debbie Rowe, is already godfather to Jackson’s three children.

The late King of Pop remains the bookies favourite to be confirmed by means of DNA testing to be Paris’s biological dad but he has drifted in the betting from seemingly certain odds of 1-10 to less likely odds of 1-2.

Other names in the paternity mix include the star’s former dermatologist Arnold Klein at 5-1 and spoon bender Uri Geller at 50-1. Less likely Dads according to Paddy Power include former US president Bill Clinton at 200/1 and M.J.’s pet monkey Bubbles at 500-1.

Paddy Power said “Michael himself remains our favourite to be Paris’s rightful dad but obviously the only living person to know the truth is Debbie Rowe herself. The whole affair is beyond doubt one of the biggest who done her stories of recent times”
