At the time of writing, the Togolese striker was priced at a rather attractive 18/1 by Paddy Power and totesport, behind Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney, and Nicolas Anelka. If Adebayor can replicate the form he showed in the 2007/08 season for Arsenal that saw him bag 24 goals in 36 games, then there’s no reason why he can’t compete for the premiership top scorer accolade this season.
