I was amazed to receive an email from skybet, to inform us that they were suspending their free bet offer for the Grand National on Saturday. This amazed us that a top bookmaker would withdraw their incentive to get new customers just in time for the biggest horse race in the country, where there are more bets placed than any other race, most of which by the ordinary person (who doesn’t usually place a bet).
The increase in the number of bets placed for the Grand National is sparked by the huge amount of publicity the race enjoys, and the fervor that the general public picks up during the lead up to the Aintree Grand National. Stan James – Free £25 bet. Plus 1/4 odds paid on first Five places for the Grand National.
totesport – Free £25 matched bet. Join totesport and place a bet of between £5 and £25 and you’ll get another bet free.
Victor Chandler – A Free Fall special, if your selection falls during the Grand National, you’ll be given a free bet to the value of your fallen bet.
William Hill – Up to £25 free bet. Place a bet of £5 to £24.99 and get a free £10 bet, place a bet of £25 or more and get a free £25. There’s a non runner money back special for the Grand National too. UPDATED: William Hill have withdrawn the Free Bet for the Grand National, so you will not be able to get your free bet on Friday or Saturday. Well as you can see not all bookmakers are as stingy as skybet, and are continuing their Grand National Free Bet incentives. Some like Paddy Power and William Hill are also offering extras too like the non runner money back special, and the 5 places bet specials too. My suggestion is that if you normally only place bets with the same company, then for the Grand National, think about changing.
