Breaking News: Cheltenham Cancelled
Day Two of the 2008 Cheltenham Festival has been cancelled, due to stormy weather at the racecourse. The weather is predicted to improve over the final two days of the festival, so todays racing has been incorporated into the following two days.
Wednesday’s Racecard will now be run over the event’s thursday and Friday meetings, including the prestigious Queen Mother Champion Chase, which will now be run on Thursday, alongside the World Hurdle. Thursday at Cheltenham will now see 10 races, and there will be a further nine races on Friday, including the Gold Cup – for many the highlight of the Cheltenham Festival.
Full details of Thursday’s racecard will be published later this afternoon.
