Bet in running on the F1 British Grand Prix

The Formula One British Grand Prix has got off to an exciting start at a very wet Silverstone circuit in Northampton. After 16 laps, pole winner Heikki Kovalainen has slipped down to third after leading the pack for the first lap. Lewis Hamilton has risen from fourth to lead the race. Second place is currently held by Kimi Raikkonen who is less than three seconds behind Lewis Hamilton, and closing very quickly indeed, knocking more than a second off his lap time at the moment, meaning a showdown should be imminent.

Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton on winning the Formula One British Grand Prix with an excellent technical drive in “typical” British weather. Lewis’s win puts him level on points at the top of the driver’s championship with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa.

Raikkonen is still favourite to retain his championship, with odds of 11/8 with 888sport, whilst Hamilton is priced at 5/4 with both Ladbrokes and Blue Square. Massa is available at odds of 7/2 with Bet 365.

Robert Kubica is only two points behind the three leaders (and would have been leading the championship had he placed today), yet his odds are a rather appetising 22/1 (888sport, blue Square and Bet365), which may be worth a place bet at the very least.

    Got something to say?
