Blackburn v Arsenal – Live on Sky Sports 1, k/o 20:00pm
Arsenal emerged victorious against their bitter London rivals Chelsea in the Super Sunday Showdown to regain top spot in the Premier league. They were assisted by the return of several key players who will be eager to play in the Carling cup on Tuesday night. Robin Van Persie looked back to his best when he came on as a sub against Chelsea at the weekend and I’m sure he will be looking to get as many minutes under his belt as he can to get back to full fitness and so looks pretty good value with BGbet at 5/1 first goalscorer. Blackburn go into the game with their worst run in the league this season. With just the one win in seven Hughes’ men will be looking to get back on track with a win. Blackburn held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw earlier in the season and will be hoping to match, if not better that result.

Wednesday’s Carling Cup Football
Chelsea v Liverpool – Live on Sky Sports 1, k/o 19:45pm
The current holders Chelsea face a tough test against a Liverpool side that are renowned for saving their best performances for the cup. Both teams go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeats, Chelsea to the league leaders Arsenal and Liverpool to the league champions Manchester United. Chelsea were lucky to get a draw against Liverpool at Anfield after a dubious penalty decision by Rob Styles but still go into the game as strong favourites with centrebet offering 21/20. Liverpool have been placed at 11/4 underdogs by BGbet, Betterbet and centrebet. This should be a tight game which might be won by one moment of brilliance. Both teams pride themselves on strong defences and so VC Bet’s 7/4 under 1.5 goals seems excellent value.
BGbet are offering to refund all losing first goalscorer bets on Chelsea v Liverpool game if Frank Lampard scores at anytime in this match.
