Both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have already disposed of one premiership team each on their way to the quarter-final of this years Carling Cup. City scraped past Bolton and Tottenham got the better of Middlesbrough. Spurs go into the game with the bragging rights after their recent 2-1 win against City coming just 9 days ago.
