Jackpot Joy winners 21st November

November 21, 2007

Pamela bags Bullion Bonanza Jackpot!
Pamela G had the surprise of her life when she won a £35,000 Jackpot with JackpotJoy back in April last year. As if that didn’t make her lucky enough, the Bullion Bonanza winner’s recently grabbed another £30,000 Super Jackpot in Bingo Lounge!

“I couldn’t believe it. I was not in the room at the time. I was in my sister in law’s house and when I turned to see the screen, everyone in Chat was congratulating me! I looked at my balance and couldn’t believe my eyes. I got up and started screaming. The neighbours must have thought I was mad!”
Pamela eventually calmed down enough to start focusing on what treats she’d be buying with her second fortune in a row.
“We bought a conservatory and visited Egypt and Tenerife last time. My daughter now wants a brand new car. My husband would like a motorbike and I’m going to take them to America.”
Before jetting into the sun, we thought Pamela’s double Jackpot win deserved being celebrated right away. We invited her and a guest to London to enjoy a theatre performance of her choice. “Everyone keeps calling me jammy. Thank you so much!”

Tycoon Treasure winner
Caroline C from Oxon won £10,971 on Tycoon Treasure

“I was so stunned I really couldn’t believe it, it was gone midnight and I was very surprised to say the least. I was in Full House Bingo at the time and I saw my balance just shoot up I was very shocked. I never thought I would ever win a Jackpot on the site. I was just playing for fun.’’
“I think I really believed I had won when my cheque came through the post, I’m waiting for it to clear and have planned everything I’m going to be spending it on. My daughters Christmas list massively extended when I told her I’d won £10,000. I texted my best friend and told her my good news her dad keeps telling me to check its not £10 but I have explained to him it is £10,000 and it is real because I’ve got the cheque!’’

Linda takes car cash in Price is Right
Linda H from Oldbury West won the Spin the wheels bonus round in The Price Is Right Bingo and decided to take the cash equivalent of £15,000
“I was so shocked I couldn’t even speak for a while, and then I was on a high. It was fantastic! I’ve never won anything like this in my life before so it’s been amazing. When I called my son he was so thrilled, at first he didn’t believe me and kept saying mum pack it in I know your having me on, but eventually I managed to convince him I was serious.’’
“I’m going to use the money to go on holiday to either the Canary Islands or Jamaica and I’m definitely going away to Amsterdam for a weekend soon. The rest of the money is going to be going towards an extra special Christmas for my 9 children. I was sent flowers and chocolates on my birthday from Jackpotjoy thank you so much for them this win has made sure I’ve had a smashing 50th birthday.”

England v Croatia Preview

November 21, 2007

If someone had said a week ago England would only need a draw at home to Croatia to qualify they would’ve been thought a fool. 5 years ago we ‘only’ needed a draw at home to Greece. 2-1 down with time running out, David Beckham stepped up…

If England win by more than 2 goals tonight they’ll top the group, which Steve McLaren would argue is all England set out to achieve. A 2-0 home win (5/1) will also see them finish top of the pile. With Peter “Rodney Trotter” Crouch leading the line, there’s no reason why they can’t continue our excellent home form.

England, who look set to drop both Paul “Crisp Packet Hands” Robinson and Becks for tonight’s qualifier in favour of Scott Carson and Sean Height Limit respectively, are 4/9 to keep a clean sheet and 6/4 minus a goal on the handicap.

Weekend Preview 17th November

November 17, 2007

Saturday’s International Football

Saturday sees the start of the Euro 2008 Qualifiers, and the most significant game of the day is at Hampden Park, where Scotland host world champions Italy (live on Sky Sports 1, k/o 5:00pm). Scotland have been fantastic during this qualification campaign, having acquired 24 points in 11 games, no mean feat considering this group contained Ukraine, France and Italy. Even a mid-campaign management change couldn’t derail Scotland, with Alex McLeish continuing the good work of Walter Smith.

World Champions Italy are not a side to underestimate, with a squad full of experienced, world class players such as Gattuso, Pirlo and Luca Toni, they will challenge to the very end but with Scotland priced at 14/5 (centrebet) the present odds appear good value for Scotland to pull off a surprise win; perhaps a selection for the more adventurous punter!

BGbet are also offering to refund all losing first goalscorer bets on Scotland v Italy if Kenny Miller scores at anytime in this match.

Also on Saturday, we have a clash between two home nations, with Wales v Rep. of Ireland at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff (live on Sky Sports 3, k/o 3:00pm). Although neither team can qualify for Euro 2008, the winner of this match would finish third in Group D and they would be placed as a higher seed in the World Cup 2010 qualification group draw, resulting in an easier route to the World Cup Finals. Both sides have much to prove, as both have performed poorly during the Qualifiers, and this will be a great opportunity to give their fans something to shout about. Bookmakers believe that either side could walk away with the win, with VC Bet pricing both teams at 6/4; this promises to be a close game.

VC Bet are offering enhanced doubles and multiples offers, so if you want to team up Rep. of Ireland, Scotland and England, VC Bet are offering odds of 15/1 that they all win their matches and 10/1 that Doyle and McFadden score at anytime during the Wales v Rep. of Ireland and Scotland v Italy matches.

The final home nation match this weekend sees N. Ireland take on Denmark at Windsor Park (Live on BBC Interactive, k/o 7:45pm). N. Ireland have performed brilliantly during the Qualifiers, having beaten the likes of Spain, Sweden and notching a draw away to Denmark, and they will be hoping to get 4 points out of 6 from their opponents. The bookmakers have priced Denmark as favourites for this match, with centrebet offering 11/10 for a Danish win, meanwhile with N. Ireland are priced at 9/4 (Betterbet), it may be worth having a flutter on a home win.

Remember there are a number of free bet offers available online. Such as BGbet and Betterbet’s £25 free bets for all new customers, centrebet’s £20 free bet new customer offer and VC Bet’s bet £50 get a free £50 bet, place another 5 bets of £10 or more and get another £50 free bet promotion. So, if you fancy a bet on the Internationals this weekend, why not take advantage of one or more of these fantastic sign up offers.

Weekend Racing Highlights

We have some fantastic National Hunt racing from Cheltenham this weekend where the feature race is the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday at 2:35pm. This is the first real big betting race of the 2008 jumps season and has been won over the years by some top class horses including Half Free, Very Promising and Cyfor Malta. This year’s race promises to be just as thrilling, with strong contenders such as Don’t Push It and L’Antartique vying for top spot, this great race is bound to unearth another star or two in this season’s renewal.

Bingo.com: Going strong in the UK

November 16, 2007

Bingo.com - Online bingo for the UKSince May of 2007, Bingo.com has taken the UK online bingo market by storm.

There was excitement in the air on May 9th, 2007. On this day, Bingo.com announced that it had launched a new version of its world-renown online bingo site – one specifically designed for the online bingo players of the United Kingdom.

Now, nearing the end of that same year, Bingo.com is thriving in its new place in the UK market. New players are joining the bingo community every day, and they’re more active in the games and chat rooms than ever before. The new Bingo.com still offers the North American style 75 ball bingo game, as well as European-style 90 ball bingo, not to mention several types of in-game slots games.

Last month, Bingo.com introduced an all-new bingo game - a third, more cutting edge bingo game: the 80 ball bingo game. Sunset Hangout is the name of this newly launched game; it has quickly proven to be a great addition to the fun and excitement of online bingo, and Bingo.com is very proud to be one of the only online bingo sites hosting this special new bingo game.

“The United Kingdom represents one of the largest worldwide markets of avid bingo players,” stated Tarrnie Williams, CEO of Bingo.com. “It is here that we will focus our marketing efforts and work to establish Bingo.com as the online bingo destination of choice.”

So here we are, working harder than ever to offer our players the very best in online bingo entertainment. With more than 1.8 million members (and that number is growing every day!), Bingo.com is already the number one result for bingo on Google.co.uk, and is quickly becoming a major presence for online bingo in the UK. Go Bingo!
