Champions League Preview 27th November
Tuesday’s Champions League Football
The final Champions League fixtures of November kick off on Tuesday night, and we’ve got some great value offers to make for some exciting betting!
The first big game on Tuesday night sees Man Utd host S. Lisbon at Old Trafford (live on ITV1, k/o 7:45pm). United’s European form has been fantastic this season, as they are the only Champions League participants with maximum points, having notched up 4 successive wins in the competition. However, they can expect fierce resistance from S. Lisbon, who need a win to maintain their hopes of beating AS Roma to second place in Group F. With Sporting old boys Nani and C. Ronaldo looking to start the match, expect them to be fired up against their old…

Next England Manager odds
It came as no surprise following England’s failure to qualify for Euro 2008 after their loss to Croatia last night that the FA have acted swiftly in sacking Steve McLaren (and his assistant Terry Venables). All the speculation now is over who will replace Second Choice Steve in the job.
One thing to note is that whoever the next England Manager is, he will have plenty of time to mould his team, with the next meaningful games (qualifying games for the 2010 World Cup) a year away. And they’ll be free to scout the potential opponents at Euro 2008 in Austria, thanks to the current squads lack of ability (or some might say lack of effort)
Early favourite for the poisoned chalice is former Chelski manager…

England v Croatia Preview
If someone had said a week ago England would only need a draw at home to Croatia to qualify they would’ve been thought a fool. 5 years ago we ‘only’ needed a draw at home to Greece. 2-1 down with time running out, David Beckham stepped up…
If England win by more than 2 goals tonight they’ll top the group, which Steve McLaren would argue is all England set out to achieve. A 2-0 home win (5/1) will also see them finish top of the pile. With Peter “Rodney Trotter” Crouch leading the line, there’s no reason why they can’t continue our excellent home form.
England, who look set to drop both Paul “Crisp Packet Hands” Robinson and Becks for tonight’s qualifier in favour of Scott…

Premier League Preview – Games 10/12 November 2007
Sunderland 6/4 v Newcastle 6/4 (11/5 draw)Saturday’s 12:45pm Kick Off sees a North East derby between two sides who just aren’t quite getting results at the moment. This game comes off the back of the 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Portsmouth for the Magpies, a game that saw them go 3-0 down after just 11 minutes. Big Sam has done “ok” so far but the defensive frailties obviously still remain, despite several new signings in that area. Sunderland are playing well but lack a cutting edge, they get into the positions needed to win games – but rarely put the ball in the back of the net. I’m sure the absence of Carlos Edwards is a huge…

Tuesday’s Champions League Football
The first Champions League fixtures of November kick off on Tuesday night, and there are some exciting betting opportunities available!
On Tuesday night, we start with Liverpool v Besiktas at Anfield (live on ITV1, k/o 7:45pm). Liverpool’s European campaign has not gone as smoothly as previous seasons, as the 2005 Champions find themselves bottom of Group A and with only 1 point so far, they face a real struggle to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition. Having just lost to Besiktas in the previous game, you can bet that Rafa’s men will be desperate to beat the Turkish Champions. With Better pricing…

Carling Cup Offers: Coventry v West Ham, Cardiff v Liverpool and more
Tuesday’s Carling Cup Football
Tuesday night sees the opening game of the 4th Round, when Coventry City host West Ham at the Ricoh Arena (Sky Sports 2, k/o 7:45pm). Coventry City have done fantastically well getting through to the 4th Round, having beaten Man Utd 2-0. Although United fielded a team of reserve and youth players, it was a tremendous achievement for Coventry to travel to Old Trafford and secure passage to the next round.
As a result, Iain Dowie’s men go into the game with West Ham full of confidence, and will fancy their chances at home, VC Bet have Coventry priced at 21/10 to record a win. West Ham, however, go into this game in indifferent form, having only won one game in…
